What a wonderful fishery,we got there on the twelth and caught a ton of fish. The weather was great everyday in the 80's little wind and the smallies were eating plentaful. We practiced and found large schools of smallies in all size ranges the best ones though were the ones with the 4-5 and 6 pounders.

The best part was they would eat almost anything you put in front of them, although the fluke and tube were the hog getters. We felt good and confadent about our spots for the tournament. The we wake up Thursday morning to a cold front that had rain high winds and a temp of 66 for the high, the winds made it next to impossible to fish issolated rock piles the size of my boat or smaller. I managed to bring a limit in both days with 10.4 Thursday and 11.1 on Friday and ended up 75th overall. Not quite what we were shooting for though it is better than last place.
