The Jetta Marina Classic tournament went well 312 boats attended and only 196 caught fish my partner and I ended up in 135th with five fish weighing 10lbs 14ozs, not bad concidering the weather high winds all day with a nasty storm at the end of the day.

In practice I was catching them on crankbaits ok but the shakey head had the best results and numbers I was using an Ozarck Tackle green pumpkin 4 inch little slick on a 3/32oz  Jackll wacky hook rigged wacky style. The numbers were good but the keepers were just at 15 to 17 inces and at Kentucky Lake that just wont get you paid. We had a good day of fishing landing 10 or 12 keepers just no good kickers. Weather played a big role in the fishing cold front after cold front all week during practice and some of the nastiest storms I have ever seen floods all over hail 2-3 inches and tornados everyday yeah loads of fun. Thank you to all of my sponsors, my truck will be wraped this week  pictures to follow.
