Jetta Marina Classic

Well the first tourny of the year was an adventure to say the least, it started with a blow out on the trailor on the trip to Kentucky and a hard time changing to the spare. The next day I spent all day replacing all tires on trailor and shopping for better tools and a better jack for roadside use, one day of practice gone.

Sunday morning lets go catch some fish now mother nature says no, with the winds at about 30mph and rain, snow hail, thunder and lightning I decided to put it on the trailor and head for a warm dry place. Monday 28 degrees and snow not gonna happen, Tuesday 30-40mph winds eain and hail stayed in. Finally got some ractice in on Wednesday with great results on the Whip 'EM rig found some fish in 10-15 ft of water and they were some good ones with the biggest of the day at 7lbs and a couple of 4 pounders good day and a pattern was put togerther on the ledges at the mouths of bays. Go out Thursday and could only catch one and the pattern changed overnight. Tournament day no better caught two keepers and that was it one on a jerk bait and the other on a 6XD. Decided they wernt close enough to weigh in and went to a great rib joint and had a great rib dinner with family.
