Northern Open James River
The James River was one of the best places I have seen to catch fish but add the fact that is a tidal water system and just like that it becomes a very hard place to catch them. I have fished in tidal waters before and I still have so much to learn before being good or competitive on these waters. I learned alot but not enough to compete I was able to catch one fish each day and finish in 125th so I guess that is better than last place.
This is the first B.A.S.S. tournament I have fished and was impressed with how it was ran and with the caliber of pro entries. Some would talk to you while others would keep to them selves. Ray Brazier from Fishing University was there and that fella there is a class act and friendly, talked with him each day like we were old friends.
