Grand Lake
Grand Lake started normally for me no fish, I decided to leave early and get three good days of practice. Got on the water at 11:30am Thursday and fished till dark and caught no fish but fished a lot of water. Put the boat on the trailor and found my trim motor not working. So to the hotel to find someone to fix in the am found Don Newman at Phlipot's Marine in FT. Loramie, Ohio, Don took care of my problem right away as soon as I ppulled in,
As we talked he also gave me some pointers on Grand Lake. A BIG THANK YOU TO DON AT PHLIPOT'S MARINE you and your shop are a class act couldn't have fished with out your help. Well got on the water after 2pm that day with Dons advice I checked some areas caught one fish and had a couple other bites. Hit the water Saturday at dawn and found some new spots and had a lot of bite on a Paca Craw but didn't set on any thing feeling good abot my day for the tourny now. Went to my spot on tourny day and with in 10min had a limit first time ever on this lake yahoo called all day and weighed in at 9.45lbs finished in 22nd place. That Paca Craw lit them up.
