Indian Lake in Ohio one of my favorite lakes to fish, didn't get much practice just one day and I didn't set a hook on a fish in practice and just let them swim off and never got to see any of them that bit. I found that they wanted a very slow presintation with a beaver and on tournament day they were eating well dispite a masive cold front I weighed 9.11 lbs and finised 30th but once again the last bite of the day was a heartbreaking loss as I set the hook the big girl swam at me then turned to show me the size of her white belly and then the beaver flew over my head and she was gone and so was my chance at another check. ( 13lbs winng weight ) After further inspection I found the spot remover shakey head I was using bent and thus the reason for the miss. Better luck next time.
Well the season is under way, my first tournament on Kentucky Lake went well. Got a week of practice and had the fish dialed in with a rattle trap and soft plastics. Finding the fish in 8-12 feet of water with the humminbird. Had a good tournament weighed in with over 10 pounds, but lost two 5 plus at the side of the boat that took me out of the money that hurt but knew I was on the right track. In this game sometimes a win comes from just knowing you made the right choices and stuck with it and seen the fish to make the top 10.

The last event with the Washington PA Bassmasters was held at Pymatuning Lake & Lake Wilhelm and called Mega Bucks. This event is a single tournament each day for points and side pot but a combined event that trophies and checks are issued. The first day was a good one for me the fish were biting good.
Well the final stop on the FLW Everstart Northern Division at the Patomac River was not a success for me wennt in 9 points out of 40th place in 42nd with a shot at the championship on Kentucky Lake and missed it. Just couldn't find good fish and ended up in 105th place in the tournament and 48th overall.
Had a good tournament at the West Virginia State Championship, after a two day tournament on the Ohio river in Ravenswood W.V. i finished in second place with 11.94lbs. Day one was awsome with fish biting a sexyshad crankbait and a white spinner bait, I caught ten keepers and was able to caul one fish and had a nice 3.19lb kicker smallmaouth, day two not so good was only able to get one keeper bite and it was a good one at 2.95lbs.
WOW, One of the hottest days of the year 98 in the shade and no wind started sweating at 7:30am . Only one 12inch keeper for the day that gave me 9th place. was just happy to catch one with as hot as it was. Caught it on a pop r at about 11am a few dinks on a crankbait.
