Went on a field test today with Rich Lau from Death Shimmer spinnerbaits. Had an ok day of fishing but let me tell you all about this spinnerbait. The Death Shimmer 2 spinnerbait is like no other spinner I have ever thrown.
Jetta Marina Classic

The Jetta Marina Classic tournament went well 312 boats attended and only 196 caught fish my partner and I ended up in 135th with five fish weighing 10lbs 14ozs, not bad concidering the weather high winds all day with a nasty storm at the end of the day.
Practice

Practice here on Kentucky Lake has been bruital high winds steady at about 35mph with gust upto 75mph real hard to fish in this crap. One day its 87degrees and the next its 45degrees every night has bad storms with hail and tornados I can say this time of year realy sucks here. Fishing has been ok with alot of short fish and a keeper here and there, sure hope it gets better for Saturday.
BFL TOUNAMENT

Fished a BFL tournament today rough day 30mph winds rain and about 47 degrees. Fishing wasn't bad caught about 25 fish and weighed only 4 for 7.05 lbs not a good day for Kentucky Lake finished in 49th over all out of 90 boaters winner had 18lbs. Good practice for next saturdays tournament.
Todays Tournament

Todays tournament on the Yough Dam was a success 18 particapants total of 8 fish caught. The day started off very foggy and cold but by eleven o'clock we were all stripping as it got up to 84 degrees today and everybody was wind and sunburned. Good day for myself for the first club tournament I finished 7th overall. This Thursday i'll be heading south to Kentucky Lake for practice and a tournament on April 23th, the Jetta Marina Open. Look forward to some hogs on beds down there this time of year, and with any luck, I'll weigh five of those pigs.Thank you to all of my sponsors for your commitment with me this season.
