Cross Creek

Cross Creek tounament for me was bad only caught two or three dinks. Only six fish caught total.It was a very hot and muggy day witch made it that much worse. Only good part of the day was whon my partner showed up at my house he only had two poles and I asked him is that all your bringing what if you break one, about an hour into the tounament he set the hook on a fish and broke the pole in two peices I laughed and said I told you so. The fish was 14 3/4 limit 15. so he had to fish the rest of the day with one pole.

Terrable day drove all night from Lake Champlain, got to the ramp at 3am plugged boats in for two hours. Started fishing at 6am caught 4 dinks then the trolling motor batteries went dead and had to pull out early. With the high winds the day before on Lake Champlain I used them batteries up and didn't have enough time to charge for the next day.

What a wonderful fishery,we got there on the twelth and caught a ton of fish. The weather was great everyday in the 80's little wind and the smallies were eating plentaful. We practiced and found large schools of smallies in all size ranges the best ones though were the ones with the 4-5 and 6 pounders.
Todays Tournament

Had another good tournament today on Stonewall Jackson lake in West Virginia I took second place. I weighed three fish for 5.5lbs lost two fish one over 5lbs that realy hurt she was almost to the boat when she came unbuttened. That fish alone would have given me the win. The winner weighed 9.12lbs. Still a good points day moved 2 points out of first place. Off Tuesday morning to Lake Champlain for my first FLW Everstart Series Northern Division tournament. Hopfuly my string of good luck holds up for two more weeks.
Ohio River Wheeling Island Tounament

What an awesome day I had on Sunday at the Ohio River Wheeling Island tournament. Went down there on Saturday for a little practice with my travel partner and friend Matt Stasiak, I caught about 13-15lbs and thought that was unbelievable and that it couldn't happen again on Sunday.
Todays Tournament

Todays tournament went well finished 5th over all with 4 fish one shy of a limit. Had some nice fish blow up on a spook early this morning but the wouldn't take it only one keeper on a spook the rest came on a crankbait. Good points day moved from 7th to 3rd in the standings.

Tournament at Pymatuning

Had an ok day was only able to get one good bite. The day started cool and sunny then the winds came didn't get a bite till early afternoon a dink about an hour later I caught a three and a half pounder, last bite of the day. My fiance had the same day I did with one dink and a two and a half pounder. We were able to salvage some points with me in 31st and Shawna in 38th. Still a good day fishing with my fiance though as the season is about to get under way and I will be traveling more so a day on the water with her is always special.
